It certainly would, and it also opens up liability on the HMO for duress claims. If anyone wants, I can drop an E-mail to my Torts prof. for his opinion. The real kicker is the "wrongful life" suit, where the child sues that s/he is better off dead. Who here wants to sit on the jury for such a case.
