so, if I were to post something offensive to nonchristians; for example, that slavery is ok (Exodus 21:2-6 and Ephesians 6:5 ), infanticide is ok (1 Samuel 15:3 and Psalms 1 35:8 & 136:10) or that women should stay out of power (Isiah 3:12);

thats all ok, cuz its bible verses - but if I say that since god is commanding all this, perhaps hes not the good guy, my posts get deleted?

Almost any kind of history book should be taken with a grain of salt, especially translated "holy books." Common sense should tell you what to take as literal, what to take as moral and what to take as something relating to ancient culture.

So I think any holy book, Koran, Torah or Bible, should be taken with a grain of salt. Inspired or not, they are still written by men, not God, and can, and almost will definately be, wrong in certain cases.
