Harry potter book 5, (spoilers) Please assist

Post by darthdavid »

I've gotten to the point where I'm sure i've read large portions of this book already. Namley: The illustration of harry lying in the flower bead on chapter 1 and the scene it that's it's about, All the pieces about thestrals, Kreachers name and some of his behavior, The illustration for the chapter where they meat gwap, the room with the arch, his magic knife melting in that one door, and harry smashing up dumbledores office. Can anyone think of any books or advanced printings where i might of read some of this? Is anyone getting the same vibe?

Sorry, I'm not getting the same vibe and I can't think of where you would have gotten a preview. As far as I know there wasn't a preview of this book in the previous Harry Potter Book.

Maybe you read an excerpt online when they first started the hype for the book?

No no, i read those but i remember them all quite clearley, all the same little snippings. Bout 3 sentences. I swear this seems too familiar. I think rowling may have ripped it off from somewere and just added in a few parts of her own. But now the where comes in. It's deja vu all over again  .

What illustrations?

Since when was Harry Potter a picture book?

In the beginning of each chapter there's a small illustration of something that's going to happen in that chapter. For example, the chapter where we first see Grawp has a picture of Grawp laying on his side just below the chapter title.

To clarify - it sounds like an American addition. Nothing to do with rolwing at all.

I have all American editions, save for the newest HP book, which is British, since I got it in Japan.

Although I like the cover art of the US release more, I do agree that the chapter heading illustrations could go kiss my ass.
