The Role-playing game by Holistic Design set in the sixth millennium in a period of a quasi-dark ages following the collapse of the second unified republic of humanity (And where, indeed, the Stars are Fadings..)--does anyone else own it, or am I the only person on the boards?

I don't have the roleplaying game, but I have the strategy game on my computer. Sorta like Alpha Centuari.

Fading Suns.. IIRC the game was broken somehow, had non-existing AI or something, and was virtually unplayable.
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.

I'm referring to the RPG.

I know it somewhat from when I religiously read Knights of The Dinner Table and thought it looked damned cool. Couldn't convince any of my usual gaming partners that it'd be cool, so I never shelled out the cash for the book.

EDIT: Wasn't there also a space naval wargame set in the same universe? Noble Armada or something?

I once played the PC game by SEGASOFT...it's now abandonware - you can
get it for free off the underdog
