Hey if it is local custom to refund lost lives with cash who are we to argue.

In a non related issue I wonder how much hunters would be willing to pay to hunt some bipeds :D .

It's not only a local costume. In the west it is also costumary to demand a heavy indemnization from the government if a familiar dies due to some governmental fuckup. That and punishing the responsibles.
