Let the slaughter begin

Not quite right. The writers have said that the missile batteries are arrayed around the ship in banks. We know from FX shots that at least 5 or 10 ELS tubes are on either flank of her. Her actual missile capability is along any vector around the ship. It isn't that big of a deal for a missile with their range and maneuverability to loop over the ship and head off in another direction.Mr Bean wrote:The AD can fire a TON of Missles but they ARE Forward Arc
Her OM-5 offensive missile are 20 mt yield. The PM-6 smart missiles have a higher yield. The PM-6LII Strategic Star Arrow multiple independent kill vehicle (MIKV) variant carries 5 independent missiles from FX shots. These missiles are designed to saturate an enemioes defenses with lots of small missiles. Each kill vehicle being at least 20 mt if no more. You have a 100 mt yield for the PM-6LII Strategic Star Arrow with the other smart missiles variants being stronger.Mr Bean wrote:AD missles are peg right now at 20 Mega-tons unless your RV who clams somthing much higher but for this aurgment I will use twenty.
It takes 2.7 seconds for Andromeda to fire that many missiles. Assuming she doesn't use her fighter wings, launch smart missile, drones, or use her AP cannons.Mr Bean wrote:36 Galaxys x 16=576 Missles+312=888 Missles to take down the Little Fleet we have here
Assuming of course they are sitting still, all facing the right way and Dillan still has to yell FireIt takes 2.7 seconds for Andromeda to fire that many missiles. Assuming she doesn't use her fighter wings, launch smart missile, drones, or use her AP cannons
As I said the ELS missile tubes are omnidirectional. And Andromeda can fire the weapons systems on her own without orders from Hunt. All she needs is clearance to fire on any Federation ship.Mr Bean wrote:Assuming of course they are sitting still, all facing the right way and Dillan still has to yell Fire
I'm still wondering how you propose they gather that many ships together have an attack plan ready ina give system. They can't even track the Andromeda and she'll be able to strike anywhere in Federation space in minutes to hours.Mr Bean wrote:After the battle it will look like Worf 359 but the AD will be just as dead as that Cube
Really depends on how you choose to interpret Trek canon because things get real weird from TOS to the TNG. I've always preferred to think of TOS as more militarized, more capitalistic, and earlier alternate timeline that Trek is so hooked on.NecronLord wrote:It depends on what time period, the Ent-A can go considerably faster than any later feddy ship.
