What are those "Clone Troopers" carrying?

It looks sort of like a prototype E-11 blaster. Might be that weapon's predecesor. Anyone know?

I believe its called a DC-17 carbine.

Ah. That would make sense, as the big guns they used in the Battle of Geonosis were DC-15's.
