EDIT:you've been watching to much star trek, loser. light is made of electrons. Electromagnetic Radiation (break it down! Electro - electron, magnetic - has a charge, radiation - emitted from source of energy *** SO HOW CAN A PHOTON, WITH NO CHRAGE, BE ELECTROMAGNETIC?) Einstein won a nobel prize for pointing out that if you hit a peice of metal with light, it knocks electrons out. Its the basis for film, television, rainbows, anything with color and its called Quantum Chromo Dynamics. Electrons go into your eyeballs and thier energy level dictates what color you see. If the energy level is too low you see nothing, but your radio might. If its too high, you wont see anything, again, but bees might. if its way too high, you still don't see anything but your frozen burrito might get all hot and bothered. If its super high it will tear your dna up and cause cancer and malformations, which in your case might prove beneficial.
Now correct me if I'm wrong(which I very much doubt), but Electrons have mass(9.110x10-31kg), so they cannot be photons which are massless.
