I imagine she must've been really happy that little opportunity came along. Stupid cunt. From article wrote:His ex-wife went to court soon after his arrest and gained custody of their youngest child and his house.
And this case seems to stem from the same problem: internet security.
Hence, firewalls, virus checkers, etc.

Explorer is a perfectly fine browser, just too much power in some peoples hands, gotta lock it down.
Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who did not.
I certainly would try to get custody of my child if child porn was found on my ex's computer. She presumably doesn't get along perfectly with the man, why would she believe him?Shinova wrote:I imagine she must've been really happy that little opportunity came along. Howedar is no longer here. Need to talk to him? Talk to Pick.

I like IE quite a bit too. But I also have ActiveX and Java disabled, I rarely accept any cookies, and I update Norton Anti-V monthly and have it set to Maximum Paranoia - enough that some javascripts can't run.His Divine Shadow wrote:Explorer is a perfectly fine browser, just too much power in some peoples hands, gotta lock it down.
Given that we know nothing about how each parent was.Howedar wrote:I certainly would try to get custody of my child if child porn was found on my ex's computer. She presumably doesn't get along perfectly with the man, why would she believe him?
But then again she should've understood the bit about the trojans. And it wasn't something to "believe". It was found.
Meh. Maybe they were both bad parents; getting custody of child like a way of getting back at the other. But did she have to take the house too???

You can't lock down exploits you don't know about. His Divine Shadow wrote:Explorer is a perfectly fine browser, just too much power in some peoples hands, gotta lock it down.
And as for it being a fine browser, it's one of the slowest web browsers on the planet, next to Netscape 4.

As for IE, they prey on it because it's deliberately so easily hackable, plus it has some 90% marketshare. Can you picture a juicier and more tempting target? Is it even possible to?Asst. Asst. Lt. Perhaps when we're done with spam, the government can crack down on such spyware.
Spam? Being done with it? Maybe when pigs fly!!!

My family uses IE. I use Opera. Opera is far superior.

Agreed. Mozilla, while has a longer start time, loads pages seconds faster than IE. Even on my dial-up connect. (Before any IE-only zealots start screaming in bitching that I'm a liar, I did clear everything I possibly could on both browsers so it would be as if I had a fresh install of both. I created a seperate user account and killed all but the necessary services in XP that were needed to run this test. I tried loading the following sites: SD.net, Beyond Babylon, and Spacebattles. Everytime Mozilla loaded the site seconds before IE. I did not run them at the same time so sharing bandwith shouldn't have been an issue. I used IE6 SP1 and Mozilla 1.4 for these tests.)Crayz9000 wrote:You can't lock down exploits you don't know about.
