Site design/format critique...

Didnt particularly want to hijack Verilion's thread further down, seemed a bit unfair, so I thought I'd start a new. Not worrying too much about the content, I'm looking for any thoughts about improving the site (http://mooserebellion.tgu.org.uk- for those of you too lazy to look at the sig) - an update is in progress, along with a minor graphical overhaul which will make it look a bit tidier, but any criticisms or critiques on the format or reccomendations on anything else required are more than welcome.

The MR Press Office page is something which I know needs work, but I'm slightly stumped as to what to do with it.

I know the purple on black text contrast isnt great, but I really like it. So it's staying. Unless it really gives people headaches...

I'd go through it more, but it's *really* not easy on my eyes.

That bad? Bugger... I really want to keep the purple text, it goes with the general colour scheme, I'll do some experimenting with different shades, maybe I can find one that works...

EDIT: But aside from that, any thoughts?
