If so, then how do you get the mouse, crosshairs, health bars, etc... to appear onscreen? I used to be able to play the game until recently when the problems stated earlier appeared. What gives?

IGI 2 works just fine on my GF3.

Perhaps you should try to reinstall the game?

I did but it doesn't change anything. The tech support says it's the NVidia drivers (release 25 and up) are at fault. But when I removed all Nvidia drivers and installed the Windows default drivers, I still have the same problem.

You actually need to install an old version of the drivers. I think it's not enough to use the default ones.

According to Eidos, if you're using MX, you will have this problem unless you install older drivers. You can find old drivers in nVIdia, with the link that reads "Driver Archive". I recommend either 29.42 or 30.82 which apparently work fine (try the 30 first, if it fails go back one... and so on)
