I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Other than that, I didn't find this one funny at all. This season has not impressed me.

Hilarious. This season, they're on a roll. I'm going to have to make a recording of the smoking song if I can.

I loved where Kyle forsees that if they help Cartman run o the Tobacco company they'll end up with the entire town out with torches ablazing having to save the day with a touching change of heart sppech, however if they fess up they can avoid it but they'll be grounded for three weeks...pause and cut to angry townsolk with burning torches.
Yes I know the description doesn't do it justice but ahhh, so much fun.

I couldn't stop laughing when they first showed Reiner at his headquarters devouring fast food burgers and wiping the sweat from his head with a rag.Nathan F wrote:And the parts about Rob Reiner was fricken HILARIOUS!

I don't normally recommend this, but have you heard of a little program called "Kazaa Lite"? That is ALL I am going to say.Dorsk 81 wrote:*Can't judge because I havent seen this series yet cos it's not on in the UK yet, BUT* What about the Mormons episode? All I'm going to say is that my comp memory is SEVERLY limited due to age, although I fail to see what thats got to do with Kazaa Lite, which I have heard of extensively...The Kernel wrote:I don't normally recommend this, but have you heard of a little program called "Kazaa Lite"? Ok, I haven't seen the episode and this is kinda off-topic but ...Nathan F wrote:This one was GREAT! I love how South Park is always ragging on people for not taking responsibility for their own actions.
What about the people who run the Tobacco companies? They sell a product that when used correctly can kill you. Why shouldn't they take responisibility for their actions?
People who shout, 'Personal responsibility!' seem to forget businesses are made up of people too.

Even funnier: Rob Reiner was on Kid Notorious, and he looked *EXACTLY* THE SAME!!!Durandal wrote:I couldn't stop laughing when they first showed Reiner at his headquarters devouring fast food burgers and wiping the sweat from his head with a rag.Nathan F wrote:And the parts about Rob Reiner was fricken HILARIOUS!

It's mentioned that they acknowledge that it can kill, but there is a clear warning and so it is the consumer's choice, even in the face of that knowledge, whether to smoke or not.C.S.Strowbridge wrote:Ok, I haven't seen the episode and this is kinda off-topic but ...Nathan F wrote:This one was GREAT! I found all of the bits with Rob Reiner hilarious, especially the part where Cartman stuck a fork into him and he started bleeding goo, and that part where the anti-smoking group says that if you don't smoke, you could be just like them and then it cuts to the boys smokind at the back of the school was good too, but that's about it.

What would you have them do, exactly? People are well-informed, by the tobacco companies and by the general media, that cigarettes are hazardous to your health.C.S.Strowbridge wrote:What about the people who run the Tobacco companies? Of course they are, but light smokers are at a far smaller risk for lung cancer than people who measure their smoking in packs per day. It all depends on how much you use the product. Heavy smokers, who are at great risk for lung cancer, happen to abuse the product, just like fat people abuse McDonald's food.People who shout, 'Personal responsibility!' seem to forget businesses are made up of people too.
The only thing that really separates the two situations is that American tobacco companies put a lot of extra chemicals into their cigarettes to make them more addicting. Foreign tobacco makers are not necessarily guilty of this; Djarum, for instance, does not load up their cigarettes with extra additives.
