Hear 'that? Its my bank account crying out in pain

Post by Mr Bean »

But you know what?

I have Internet.....

Who in the hell thought that getting even dial-up within a stone's throw shot of the White House would be such an exercise in futility?

I had it easier out in the boonies!

In any case, I'm online(Via AT&T's Wireless "Edge-Wear" or basicly wireless ISDN)

I'm humming along at 98k(As in almost but not quite 2x 56k) and asking myself is it worth the 200$ card and 62$(Military discounted) a month service fees?
Maybe yes maybe no

Broadband is an odd thing

I live out in the middle of nowhere, yet I have cable + cable tv for 50/mo
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

$62 for ISDN? Ouch, and that's after the discount?

I pay $59CAD for cable.

Keep in mind its "Wireless" ISDN, which costs a heck of alot more than regular wired ISDN

Still since I can bring the old comp into work, nor do I go much around the building with the ol' laptop it sees little "roaming use"
