So yesterday my fiance', her sister and I were scheduled to go to Japan for two weeks. Part of the reason for this two week visit was to go to the embassy and get more information on getting her naturalized in the states. Everything was fine until we arrived at San Francisco airport: She did not get the required paperwork from the university that validates her being in school. In other words, she would not be able to return to the states until we get married and she gets her temporary marriage visa. This could take months. We just turned around and came back home to Chico.
After feeling depressed for a few hours, I decided to book a room for four nights at the Hilton in Vegas. We're leaving tomorrow. We feel MUCH better now. Yes, I am going on the Star Trek Experience and to Quark's Bar again. Oh, and we're probably going to marry while we're there.

But if your looking to have nice ceremony insted of a just a quicky drive through or something I'll give you the name of a real nice little chapple. I'll go look it up and post back here. Also, you have to visit Mandaly Bay and see the headless Lenin statue, they have a great resturant just across from it.

Congrats! Definitely see the Luxor (diagonal elevators!) and Star Trek: The Experience. I also highly recommend Cirque Du Soleil's "Mystere" playing at Treasure Island. It's great fun and romantic at times.

The only problem with the Luxor is tht you have to be a guest to ride the inclinators. Definatly make time to see blue man group, you wont regret it.
