Picture Phones and PCs

I've taken a number of pictures with my phone since I got it last April, but my efforts to transfer those pictures to my PC have proven futile. This includes trying to 'email' my computer using my phone.
Time for some background info: My phone is a GX10 Sharp mobile phone, dual-band. My PC is a broad-band connected AMD Athlon XP running Windows 2000.
If anyone can help me out here, I will buy them a McDonalds.
