Arthur King of the Penguins.

A King Penguin was found at Port Macdonnell, in South Australia recently, so my sister and I decided to drive and see it this weekend, since these guys are normally only found in the antarctic. We were very lucky to see it and get photos, we nicknamed it Arthur King of the Penguins.

Unfortunately I heard on the news that it was found sick yesterday (we saw him on Saturday and Sunday) and had to be flown to Adelaide zoo. I have even heard that it since died

, however haven't been able to confirm it. Hopefully it is ok.

Cute Penguin, hope it's okay...but damn that's bird is waaaaay off course.

Poor thing thaty must have been some swim

almost 2,000 miles lost

No it is definately a King Penguin, Emperor's look very similar, but are larger. I have heard from the zoo, it is still alive, it has liver problems. They are not confident that it will survive though, it is very sick, so fingers crossed.

If it dies, see if you can get a meat sample. Penguin probably tastes good.
