How do you delete Powerstrip?

Post by Guardsman Bass »

I downloaded it a while ago because I though I could use it to improve my graphics. I don't use it all, but it still makes me go through that stupid opener/tipoftheday thing, which gets longer and longer. I tried opening up the software manager and deleting it, but it wouldn't let me! Is there some special way to get rid of it?

Ugh

You don't remove programs that way! That will only cause a buttload of problems if its one of those programs that dumps files in System32 or other locations. What you need to do is use "Add/Remove Programs". Click the start button, and click on settings. Click on Control Panel and double-click on "Add/Remove Programs". Find Powerstrip on the list and click on "Change/Remove". Follow the on-screen prompts.
