Verizon on spyware shitlist now

Apperently a Verizon CD installs spyware on your computer and attempts to contact a third party.

I would be wery upset if this happened to me. Damn ISP should not install spyware on customers computer.

I don't trust any installation cd anymore, and least of all anything from other than an actual software publisher.

Glad I have extra computers for me to test things on as I will not let anything on my main box if at all possible.

You know, is this why my Dad's computer had spyware up the wazoo this weekend? He uses Verizon DSL, and I found some pretty interesting stuff in system32.
