Dumb bastards - all of them

Post by His Divine Shadow »

Now one of my friends thinks I've betrayed her, wtf, made me feel all depressed and guilty at first because I didn't know what on earth I had done...

But then she told me that it was because of what happened at easter when we where playing around, sorta wrestling in the hay, things like playfull wrestling in a state of inebration, I mean I stole her hat(in jest) and she then tried to stuff hay down my neck and such, anyway she has a boyfriend and he apparently thinks it was more than that, the dumb fuck, I known the guy longer than I've known her, never knew he'd think of me like that.

She said "How do you think it felt for *insert name*, seeing me lying on top of you?"(Well I'd think the part where you're trying to stuff hay down my neck should indicate that we're only playing around, not "fooling" around)

Bullshit, even if he's an overly jelaous BF it's no better of her to accuse me of "betraying" her.

Hmm, latest SMS I got from her read like this:
I understand why he[her BF] reacted like that... And it is my fault and I regret it alot... And then he also thinks you're interested in me...ridiculous
But I am, though I wouldn't act on it because she has a BF, though I wonder why she thinks thats ridiculous... I probably wouldn't like the answer though.

And as I told her, I'm not ashamed, I had fun, not my fault that someone else has a problem with that.

You like her, she has a BF, he thinks you like her, she thinks you betrayed her.

Hello Aaron Spelling!

You should just stop hanging out with her. There's nothing more sad than a guy who can't move on pining over a girl who is clearly uninterested. Find someone else, someone less prone to unstable behavior and accusations of betrayal to cover her own mistakes.

I have no idea wheter she's uninterested or not, seeing as there's never been anything romantic about our relationship in the first place and I am not exactly anticipiating that either so I am just her friend and have never tried to come on to her or anything.

You've clearly failed to read what I've said in this thread and produced your own fantasy version of whats been happening.

Anyway she's apologized for it.

Nice oversimplification fallacy as well.

To me it sounds like that wrestling with you caused her to feel something for you which then caused her to feel guilty because of her boyfriend so she decided to blame you which reduces the guilt.

My girlfriend occaisonally pulls this transference bullshit as well. We'll miss a couple of dates due to her having to work late and a few days later she'll accuse me of being boring and never wanting to go out. Now, I've been brought up to not hit women, so instead I'll go over a play-by-play about all the times I've wanted to go out, but couldn't since she has to work.

While it all kind seems like bullshit, it does serve a couple purposes. It allows her to vent her frusterations over her workload, and my "fighting back" increases my manliness in her eyes. Plus, there's a chance at some sex.

Anyway, since she apologised to you, it seems that her logic circuits are now back on line, so you shouldn't have any trouble till the next time.
