Keep in mind- this is early alpha. Johan (lead programmer) explicitly stated that many features are missing.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

As long as it's at least as good as Hearts of Iron, I'll get it. They may be all "PC" with removing the Holocaust and the Great Purges, but I do love changing history so ...

Anyone else notice the lack of rivers?
History? I love history! First, something happens, then, something else happens! It's so sequential!! Thank you first guy, for writing things down!

Perhaps it's a map mode thing. I was gonna check my HOI to see if political mode shows rivers, but it's late and I can't be bothered. :)

In Victoria, the politcal map mode removes all geographical features, including rivers. I can only assume that this map is a further development of the same feature.

Hmm, looks quite a bit nicer than I was expecting.

Don't you know that, over here lad, they like it best like this!
Hooray, pour les français! Farewell, Angleterre!
We didn't know how to tickle Mary, but we learnt how, over there!

I actually did a little analysis of it a while ago.

My copy of HOI had Soviet officer purges. Maybe there are some differences between the localized versions of the game?

I know one of the versions had a Swastika for the german flag, but I believe the Euro version did not.
