But you're right in that most of the stuff there is mediocre. The good ones though, are often REALLY good.

I've had a fair bit of experience on FF.net, and yes there are some great ones there, but for the most part people ignore the majority and focus on the minority. Its too widespread and lacks personality.

I tried posting there, but since my SW stuff doesn't involve the main characters, set during NJO OR the prequels, I got overlooked constantly. Personally, I find it's full of children. No offence Shinova.

Long, long ago, I read quite a few really good Tenchi Muyo! fanfics on Tmffa.com. I'm pretty sure it's still there (had their 5th anniversary a while back). I wrote two MSTs on some bad fics, which I'll admit aren't the greatest bits of my work, but they've aged well in 4 years.
