Let's try to come up with as many fighter and capital ship and fighter class names as possible for use in stories and facfics. Most of the names I came up with are fighter names but some can be used for capital ships as well.

the prefixs(M1, M3, TS) mean 2 things:

M = Military ships (fighters, Scouts)

T = Transports (cargo ships

Tp: A space APC. literally

TS: a space variant of the common semi(often refered to as Transport slow)

M5: light fighter( Scout)

M4: Medium fighter (intercepter)

M3: Heavy fighter

M2: Cruiser/Destroyer

M1: Carrier

TL: Transport Large(can only dock at Shipyards) space variant of road train( Aussie Semi that can tow 2-4 trailers, used for bulk shipment between Adelaide and Darwin)

M6: Corvette, X universes version of a lancer class frigate from Star Wars, 1+ front firing weapons + 2+ turrets

all the above ships in X2 are buyable, including the M2 - M1 and TL classes
