Since I got my new phone(Sony Ericsson T300) I was looking for a new ringtone since it came with no good ones, I did find it at several places, all of them wanted like 2 dollars for a ringtone, screw that, I also found out I needed WAP(Wireless Application Protocol - internet for cellphones) for it to work.

Anyway after getting wap and internet running on my phone(GPRS) I wondered whats so special about a wap server, I saw there where all the usual internet settings like IP's and URL's, anyway as it turns out you can set your webserver to work as a wap server by adding some MIME types for the HTTP headers.

I also found out you can combine wap pages with PHP and ASP, so after lots of annoying little errors and problems I've made a simple site where I access my own computer with my phone and I can download my own ringtones and images and other stuff.

Ofcourse, I supose I could have just bought a datacable instead :P
