Unique Problem

Post by Kamakazie Sith »

Any idea on what would cause a computer on cable modem to be unable to connect to Yahoo, AOL via TCP/IP or download any of those programs from their respective websites?

This computer was recently relocated it was on DSL and now it uses cable. Any suggestions or educated guess would help, thank you.

I found the problem.

Zonealarm was partially running. No icon at the lower right but it was interfering with AOL and Yahoo. Son of a bitch....

This was a friends computer who I was helping through email.
