I definitely know who I'm not voting for. I'll get back to you after I figure out who is the least evil of the bunch.Does anyone here have any ideas on who they're voting for?

Thing don't look that bright when the names that immediately comes to mind is "Little Johnny" and the "Other Guy". Hopefully, the pollies will prove cooperative and give us something decent to base our votes on.

As a New Zealander, I will now take time to indulge my hereditary right to interfere in our neighbors internal affairs. Little Johnny needs to go, his US policy is making us retch..how can one man swallow so much Shrub jizz?. Come on guys you are supposed to be independent, fer crisst sakes!

Keep in mind that even the major parties win via preferances(Preferance trading between parties is a big deal in Australian politics). So its a matter of were you put your preferances.Stark wrote:I'd love to hear from anyone who's going to vote Liberal. I mean, they must exist, they always win. I've never met anyone who admits to voting for the environment/health system/foreign policy etc etc destroying guys.

I have yet to meet an old person who likes the Greens.

I guess I'll probably be voting Liberal, if I vote at all, more for the "Devil I know" factor if anything. None of the canditates really appeal to me, but from last I heard, I could probably support the Liberal's economic policies more than I could the ALP's.
*Sighs and tries to remember a time before he could vote, back when the Democrats were supposedly formed as a party along a Libertarian ideology*

Oh good, an election. A chance for Australia's finest to strut their stuff to see who gets to lead this great country [/sarcasm.]
Me I'll probably vote Labour. Since Liberal and Labour are almost identical, and everything else is basically a donkey vote, I may as well vote for the guy with less annoying eyebrows (and a somewhat less brown-nose attitude towards Americans and in particular our ruler by proxy George Dubya Bush).[/quote]
