Who Could Take Iran?

Post by Wicked Pilot »

So I was thinking about the whole Iranian nuclear crisis coming up, and was wondering who could best deal with it. It's doubtful the UN will do anything more than worthless, so besides Bush's campaign season saber chest beating, and Israel's 'shoot first, fuck questions' attitude, is there anyone else who could go in and put Iran in their place? I joked earlier about the French sending a fleet to do the job, but seriously, they're a bunch of pussies. How about the Russians though, does anyone think they may venture in just for the ass kicking nostalgia? How about the Irish, they like needlessly beating the shit out of non Catholics? Or even the Canadians, perhaps they're sick of being called frenchies by everyone else. Would any of these nations be interested in doing anything? Could they do anything?

Well if it's a question of who has the resources to blow up Iran's reactors, the list is quite long, any NATO member for example could do it if they could borrow a runway within 500 miles for an hour. Russia would not be on it though, while they have the firepower easily, they are also the ones building the thing.

Perhaps what I'm asking is one who would give enough of a fuck to do the job, and two, of those who could pull it off by themselves, without any help.
