...well, on the way to Darth McC, anyway. Not going to do this for Halloween, as the costume's scope exceeds the amount of time I have available before Halloween, but I'm having fun with it just the same.

I've got a bunch of tablecloth vinyl I'm using to make the shirt and pants, some rubber placemats for the armor pieces, some very nice fabric for the cape/cloak, and I'm planning on working up a full electronic rig for it with buttons to activate breathing loop, voice amplifier, and maybe even a button that plays the Imperial march, along with all the lights.

Ahh, I've got one of those helmets. I dressed up as Vader for Halloween probably a decade ago.

With the boots I have, I'm 6'1". Probably a little taller when you add the height of the helmet, too.
