I just got it recently. Note that I'm with the high-speed plan, not Ultra. My mom had it for a while, and yet it was never this fast.

Back when she had it, I'd usually get downloads at a steady rate of 100k/second.

Now my downloads go a rates of about 320k/second.

Did Bell upgrade their system or something, or is this some sort of cool glitch?

Oh, and I'm sure they didn't accidently sign me up for Ultra. I checked my bill, and it had the right price.

They supposedly upgraded, but I think you need the new modem. They doubled the old up and down speeds.

Ok, that would make sense. I must have the new modem, since I only got the package two weeks ago, and the thing is tinier than any other DSL modem I've ever seen.

The speed seems more like tripled than doubled, but I'm not complaining...
