I know it's a nuclear type weapon from dune with variable power settings, but what is the maximum damage it can do?

Its a very Focused Nuclear Weapon that can destablise a planet supposdly and it tosses off alot of radation blinding everyone within range with is pretty short

I think in one of the novels the guy blew off ice cap of Arrakis on a medium setting or something. What about 'The Weapon' the Honored Matres used to BDZ Arrakis?

From what I understand its a low power kill weapons desigend to kill everything on the planet by cracking the mantel and causing earthquakes
Either Highly Focused? However it describe as a burrowing so its not one expolsion so either multiple exposions focused down or some other Tecnobabble as the first explosions should destroy the entire device

Stone Burners are a tactical weapon who's use circumvents the Great Convention in that they are used to blind a ground force, rather than use blast effect for indisciminate destruction. The Forms Must Be Obeyed! A "planet cracking" effect is achieved through the amount of fuel used, or the thickness of a given planet's crust. Planetary destruction in the Old Empire would bring the combined wrath of all the Great Houses.
Presumably, the Honored matres use Lasguns or Burners in orbital bombardment. A Burner being, from effects stated in the novels, a plasma weapon of some sort.
