Vree and Stribe, they use a teleporter that sends the "victim" through a another dimiension instead of breaking your down into your base atoms
Sound alot safer, but the range is really small like maybe a couple dozen meters at most

You have a similar idea for Andromeda's tesseracting. People seem to have moved at apparently FTL speeds. Then you have Harper's teleporter. Melon Guts!!
