Anyone have it? Since the only wussy store in my area took it off the shelves after 9/11(Bastards! They shall perish in the coming revolution!) and I don't have a credit card to order online, I had to get a friend to burn it. No movies, but works perfectly otherwise.
Kickass game.
It just so...rocks. Lots of great moments. Like, in the third Allied mission, where I built a dozen airforce bases, built 48 Harriers, and then just bombed everything Red off the map.
Great, great game.

"The Wire" is the best show in the history of television. Watch it today.

I've got it, but I had to take it off the comp, now, whenever I try to re-instal it, it stops halfway through the installation.

I loved RA2 right from the first Soviet mission. What was that message from Lieutenant Zofia about three minutes into the game:
"Do not concern yourself overly with the lives of your men, comrade General..."
Dakka dakka "Agghhh!" Pompompom "M-M-Mommy!" Dakdakdakdak BOOM! "Aiieeee!!!"
"For every conscript who falls in our grand crusade, another thousand will rise to take his place."
I love being the Soviets.

The original was better. Little can beat the classic Nineteen fifties WW3 senario with a leavening of late 80's technology.

Sea Skimmer, while it was cool ... it made NO sense ... MiG-29Ms fighting alongside Yak-3s? Right ....

I think there 9's, but then only once do we get a good enough look to make a call, the movie you get with Allied mission 7 has a close up of one. I can't tell. Not just MiG-29M's, but with Mavericks to boot..
One of the producers said in a interview they had intended for it to be 1950, thus Stalin and company and nukes being new, but also wanted modern technology so they just brought a few things back through time.

What was the story with those double barrel tanks on the Soviet side though ... like really ...
All they needed to do was make the turret round instead of angled and hey Presto- instant Soviet tank.

While near useless in combat, multi gunned and or turreted tanks are undeniably cool. Thus there inclusion.Vympel wrote:Sea Skimmer wrote:Vympel wrote:Sea Skimmer, while it was cool ... it made NO sense ... MiG-29Ms fighting alongside Yak-3s? Right ....
