This is a debate that is going on in the chat. I say that the space pirates from the Metroids have Chozo technology. Besides the similarities between their armors and attacks, I also ripped this little pic from Metroid Zero Mission.
That is from the inside of a ship that Samus stole from the Space Pirates. I clearly see two Chozo heads, a sign that this is Chozo techology that the Pirates stole(which we've seen them do). Others say its just dials or something. So I turn it to the board to see what others thought.

Well, they ARE pirates, so one could assume that they try to steal and incorporate whatever technology they can find, and since Chozo tech is the best seen in the Metroid galaxy (barring possibly that of the Aether), one would think that Chozo tech would find its way into that of the Pirates. Also, the Pirates set up their HQ on Zebes, a Chozo world, their major mining colony on Tallon IV, also a Chozo world, and IIRC they had a presence on SR-388 (since the X virus morphs into them).
So I'd say there's a good chance that they have Chozo technology.

As I recall from Prime, the pirates attempted to reverse-engineer Samus' Chozo tech for their Power/Wave/Ice/Plasma Troopers. They had fair sucess, but nothing perfect. I guess that's why they started on the Elite Pirates They can't have got much Chozo stuff from Tallon IV, as the Chozo state that they've gone back to a low-tech existence. They certainy don't have Morph ball technology, as the prototypes left the test 'pilots' rather... um... squished.
As for the pic, I don't think that they're Chozo heads, they look more like instruments. The Chozo don't seem to have gone into logos much, if it was a Chozo tech ship, it'd most likely have a statue in the back or something.

According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.
