They're at it again. Tonight, Fox is currently showing TPM. For the 3rd time. I think they shouldshow AOTC instead of the TPM shit. I mean, probably everyone has TPM on DVD. Don't the people at Fox realize this?
Whos gonna watch it? And should they stop before I drive to their HQ and threaten Fox's president with a 50. caliber machine gun? I say: yes. Stop it now.
They've shown it three times counting tonight. Once when they were first allowed to do it, once after they played the OT:SE right before AotC, and tonight. That movie took a lot of money to get the playing rights, and they need to get that money back.

For the movie to make it to TV they first have to stop showing it at theatre and then let video/dvd die down to almost nothing before they beat the last few dollars out of it by letting a TV network pay for the right to play it, about 3 years after it originally came out.

Might want to wait till the numbers come back on how many watched it. Hell, ANH was on and I've watched it a bunch of times, and I still watched it, well most of it.

Yeah, and I'm going to see it this weekend!
FOX has every right to keep showing TPM. I think it's not that great of a movie but as long as the feel it's worth let them. It's way to early for AotC to be out on network TV. Too bad for you.
Is there ANYTHING on that stupid channel other than some stupid "reality" show or "When *insert object/animal here* Attacks! *insert some random number here* or re-runs of COPS?

Oh wow, three times, spread over like what? Several months? While I did miss the first thirty of so minutes of it and being the first time I've seen it, I quite liked it.

the only good things on Fox are The Simpsons and Futurama. Other than that, nothing.

It's alright for them too show it. Just don't overdue. And I like COPs too sometimes. In the great words of Chris Rock"Fox got lots of black people on the TV. But they're all on COPs!"

Hey, 24: Day 2.
Forgot about that. I don't watch it, but from the reviews I've been hearing, maybe I should.
First off, keep showing that SOB. I ain't watchin' it no ways. I have it on widescreen and pan scan. woot. Besides, stations still show ANH, when they could be gracious enough to show ESB or RotJ. Even more than that, I don't want to hear anyone complaing about the 24hr Christmas Story marathon on TBS.

Uh, why do you have it on both widescreen and pan and scan?
First off, I got the VHS on widescreen. Then I got the plastic case VHS, I can't remember exactly how it happened. I had one on preorder and I think I wound up with pan scan, but I didnt' want that, so I bought the widescreen. I gave my dad the pan scan, kept the plastic case and put the widescreen there. Then when the DVD came out, I bought it in widescreen. Basically that's how I got pan scan and widescreen. Same with the OT. I bought it's re release and they only had pan scan. I finally found widescreen. likewise, I turned that over to my dad. pan scan is good for details of a main shot, but to watch the movie it's fucked up. I saw RotJ when I was a kid in theaters. Then it was pan scan from there on out. When I finally got to see widescreen of RotJ in Jabbas palace, I was floored. You have to have a fair sized screen though or details won't matter.
