Well, Mine would be square shaped, with the front looking like sombody took a bite out of it. There would be in the bitten area: A cockpit,a quad gunn turret, a rapidfire proton torpedo launcher on each side (two) and a sensor. Of on the sides of the ship, I would have two Heavy Ion cannons stolen from an Imperator. There would be sheilds and such. It would also come with bad mechanics, and a dictionary of cuss words for when the generator or sheilds break. Also, good sheilds, hyper drive, and engines.

Holy shit. Just a note, Intern, the mods don't take kindly to threadomancy. Although you are contributing to the thread, this thread is damned old.

Holy crap! This is beyond necromancy!
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Considering that it was 34 months since the reply before his, I'm sure nothing short of announcing the discovery of FTL drive would be considered relevant enough to warrant bumping the thread up.Darth Yoshi wrote:Holy shit. Seeing someone drag out a thread this old makes one look back, and think of all the things that happened in the world since the last reply...

May I say something before this thread is locked? It should be noted, that anyone going through the Archives occasionally finds a thread they would LOVE to post in, Alas, Thread-o-mancy is forbidden, but when one recreates the thread, it usually recieves little intrests since it has been done before... Whats a Redshirt to do?

Hmm..
Well, assuming a YT2000 Corellian Transport like the Otana(I prefer its symetrical design... Symetry is one of My OCD things, and the reason I cant draw... if it isnt symetrical, I will scrap it)
The Dorsal and Ventral quad guns would remain, however I would add a quad light turbolaser cannon to each side, turret mounted, for when I need that extra punch.
I would increase the shield output with military grade shielding and modify the hyperdrive to a fraction of 1 class.
Stealth systems
I would add a forward firing medium output ion cannon, and a mag pulse torp launcher
I would increase sensor and sensor jamming output and range.
Assuming a galofree yard medium transport... above, only more of it

Ho. Lee. Shit. The irate-o-meter just went up another tick. (recent vent post, IYW)
...no point in wasting the chance, though.
To a stock YT-2000, I'd add:
One military-grade power plant for a craft of such size to replace the civilian model.
Two high-yield Laser Cannons, installed in the nose.
One Ion Cannon, installed between the two aforementioned lasers.
A high-end engine array.
SLAMs (SubLight Acceleration Motor) for a quick getaway.
An ECM package for runs through heavily-patrolled areas.
Military grade hyperdrive and navigational computers, plus any data I can get about points of interest.
Vernier thrusters up the wazoo - I want this thing handlin' like a fighter when I'm done with it.
Two gimball-mounted low-yield automated anti-missile laser cannons, mounted above and below the engine array.
High-yield shields, good enough to take a poundin' long enough for me to get out of Dodge.
Black paint.
A quad laser cannon to replace the double that comes standard.
An airlock-mounted fusion cutter for forced entry.

It looks like Intern Boy just went in and tried to find the oldest thread he could to resurrect. The board was just a couple of weeks old when this one was first posted.

Well, when a forum is particularly active (like, just after ROTS, the PSW forums were baraged with new topics) it might be acceptable to pull something off a second page if it's not too old.The Cleric wrote:I thought the rule was first page?
To date, I can't recall this happening, however.

Unless what you have to add is very relevant then its a week. Some forums aren't as active and thus there will be old topics on the first page. The Cleric wrote:I thought the rule was first page?
