Inspired by Darth Wong's fundie phrase dictionary, I was wondering what type of common catch phrases apologists use, and what they really mean after its been "translated"

For examples

catch phrase

We are being persecuted

translation

We are not allowed to force our beliefs on other people

catch phrase

Christianity grew up (in reference to an old SB.com thread where apologist hand waves away Christian atrocities in the past)

translation

Oher factors prevents Christians persecuting others

catch phrase

The Church helped the development of science (based on the fact that some early scientist were Christians)

translation

Science advanced despite interference from the Church

catch phrase

I am for the family

translation

I am a homophobic bigot

catch phrase

love the sinner but hate the sin

translation
