Good, Serious SW Fan Films
I'm looking for the best Star Wars fanfilms, meant to be a part of the fan-made EU, and not parodic. The perfect example is Revelations.
Are there any that are almost as long as Revelations?

I'm partial to these three:

The ones Pure Sabacc posted are pretty much the creme de la creme. The Dark Redemption is also pretty good. Also, might want to give Sins of the Jedi a look-see.

I'll second IMPS, though there is some parody there. Still, good quality overall.

Legacy of the Jedi was quite well done and serious up until the very end, at which point it became a parody. Pity, really.

Quick question to list my priorities... Which Fan Film has the most cool looking starships in it?
Praying is another way of doing nothing helpful
"Congratulations, you get a cookie. You almost got a fundamental English word correct." Pick
"Outlaw star has spaceships that punch eachother" Joviwan
Read "Tales From The Crossroads"!
Read "One Wrong Turn"!

In my humble opinion, Revelations was...not that great. The FX were awesome, I'll give you that, but the story was pretty nonsensicle after the first few minutes, the characters were quite dull, and that one scene in the cave where everbody forgets that there enemies pissed me off. The lightsaber cherography wasnt very good either. IMO Knightquest was much better, as was Broken Alliegence (links already posted.)Battlehymn Republic wrote:Any better than Star Wars: Revelations? I'll take acting/character development/story over special effects in this judging.

Thanks. That's the kind of advice I need in this thread. I've heard so much hype about Revelations (probably because of its high production values, its almost strategic release time near ROTS, and its appearance is much recorded by mainstream press).
I did think the acting wasn't that great, and it was way too damn dark looking. Pace was also too fast, it was funny they had the music well-choreographed to match every sudden revelation in the dialogue.

This one's pretty intresting as well, although its only psudo-serious. It has a decent Boba Fett potrayal IMO.
