Best HTML/other web editor for the incompetent.
I'm trying to put together a temporary/placeholder website and given my complete and utter lack of ub3rl33t coding skillz (they've atrophied over the past 4 years) I am finding myself more and more in need of a good, simple, stable and reliable (and free) web editing package. Can anyone recommend something that will let me do a bunch of not too complex pages that will be supported by all (or at the very least MOST) browser types?

Max's HTML beauty. Basically a HTML-centric text editor, with automatic tags, preview and validation. Very clean and easy to use.
It hasn't been updated in a long while, but it does the job.

Vim < www.vim.org>
. More seriously, try Nvu < www.nvu.com > (I've never used it, having using vim exclusively though).
