This monitor's not even a year old but I'm having issues... I hope it's not time to get another new one already. The problem is I'm getting some increasingly severe bluriness, particularly toward the center of the screen. Black text on a white background is virtually unreadable. Upon further examination it seems like it's drawing the same picture twice, but just enough out of alignment to make it hard to read. Kind of like a drop shadow I guess, I'm not a monitor expert.
And it's a flatscreen CRT, definitely not a flatpanel.
Any advice/tips/new monitor recommendations?

Make sure the video cable is firmly secure on both ends. Is it integrated into the monitor or is it a separate component?
Are there any new potential sources of EMI? i.e. have you put speakers next to the monitor?
Have you tried degaussing the monitor?
Have you tried a different monitor with your computer? Alternatively, a different computer with your monitor?

Shouldn't be an issue but I'll double check.
Aha, yes. I'm not sure how to alleviate this though, there's no where else to put the speakers. Are there any new potential sources of EMI? i.e. have you put speakers next to the monitor?
