AudigyZS driver bullshit

Okay, the first time I installed the AudigyZS drivers, they worked fine, except I couldnt access all the snappy controls and audio mixers, instead I got bitched at by windows that my sound device for the drivers didn't exist Oookaaay...... So, a few minutes ago, I decided to update to see if that would fix the problem. T
he drivers install fine, comp restarts, and all the sound works. But, I still have the same problem. When trying to enter the sound card controls, the same problem happened. So I uninstall the sound card (which freezes the device manager, ELL OH ELL) but it does get removed. So I pop in the driver disc, and after it installs, it freezes, then a minute later informs me of an RCP violation and that the drivers couldnt be installed. Wonderful.
(And yes, I used driver cleaner to be safe that the previous drivers were removed.) So, what the hell is going on here?
EDIT: Aha, fixed it. An admin can close this thread if he wants now.
