Seeking Tricky Vector and Plane in 3-D Problems

Post by Fire Fly »

For anyone who has taken second semester calculus, does anyone have/know of any difficult/tricky problems about vectors and planes in 3-D? The kind of problems that require a little thinking about, one step beyond what was taught in the books. I'm trying to get myself ready for my finals and would like whatever can be thrown at me before the final. Thanks.

It's been awhile since I've taken vector calculus, but I don't remember any really tricky problems in the finals. I blew off the course and was failing big time going into the finals. Five days of cramming got me a 75% on the final and a sympathy 50 for the course. If there had been any tricky bits, I wouldn't have passed. Of course, different profs, different exams, so don't slack off on my account.

Good luck on your finals.
