Mpeg-4 Converter Recommendations

Post by Dominus Atheos »

I have a lot of avi videos that take up way too much space on my hard drive, and I would like to convert them to Mpeg-4s. I want to know of any programs available for free that I can give a list of files to convert(that is, not just one at a time, that I have to babysit. Instead, I need one that I can tell to convert like 10 or 20 files, go to school, and come back, and it will have converted all of them). If it is a 30 day trial, that is fine.

Look for Gordion Knot or AutoGK, they can help. As a note, AVI means nothing, it is a container file for whatever you put in it, and a lot of AVIs these days use an MPEG4 codec (Xvid, DivX, etc.)
