I was bored, and noticing the sheer intensity of the Sakura vs Axis thread, I decided to start my own.
The matchup is simple.
This Sakura person, all her bodyguards, friends, etc
vs
The Rebels of the White Rose in the beginning of The White Rose. The White Rose forces will be limited to:
The Black Company(50 men, plus three minor wizards)
The White Rose, magic-null and all.
No windwhales or mantas, because windwhales can eat cities and that would be unfair.
I think it's rather obvious that the Rebels take this- The White Rose's zone of magical nullification will clinch it for them.

Yogi: The White Rose is the reincarnation of an ancient general. She has a barrier-sphere one or two kilometers in diameter that essentially nullifies all magic inside it.
Setzer: I've seen two episodes of the American TV show.

A magic nullifying sphere vs. A person using exclusively magic?
Ouch.
What order of magic can the sphere nullify? Does it nullify only active magic (such as spells cast within it) or does it also affect standing magic (such as an enchantmant upon oneself)?
How skilled are they at Hand to Hand combat?
Unless Sakura can simply overpower the magic nullifying field, the only peope from CCS who stand a chance is Li Shoulan and Li Meiling because of their hand to hand combat skills. If Kerobus can exist withing the field, it becomes a bit more even. If Sakura can use cards on herself before entering, it becomes a LOT more even.

In "The White Rose", Lady tells Croaker that if a person was transformed into a frog, they would stay a frog once they entered the dome, but if it was merely an illusion, it would be dispelled.
So, if Sakura uses some sort of Card, and the magic fades away before she enters the dome, he can do whatever. However, direct-magic attacks are sure to fail.
The fifty men of the Black Company are infantry, and about half are battle-hardened veterans.

I see.
I suppose that Fight and Power would probably fade away as soon as she entered the dome. However, turning her wand into a Sword might work, as it will stay a sword.
Yue attacks be using some type of magic arrow, so that probably won't work. Kerobus is a giant lion however, so he should be able to do well.
Li Meiling was able to hold her own against the Fight card, meaning that she's pretty damn good. However, against 25 battle hardened veterans, it might not be so good. Li Shaolan has primary training in magic, so his combat skills are not as good as Meilings. Sakura is physically fit, but she has NO combat expirience. The rest of the cast are just normal people (unless you decide to include Tomoyo's bodyguards, who are probably armed with guns).
That reminds me, are they "swords and shields" type, or do they have more advanced tech.
Assuming the opponent's are "swords and shields" type, Team Sakura really doesn't have a hope in hell coming in to face them. They could technically fly 1 km up (2 km diamiter = 1 km radius) and try dropping stuff or firing Arrows at them, but that's probably not going to work well. The two chances they have at a direct fight is if Sakura can use Power, Fight, and Sword beforehand, or Tomoyo's armed bodyguards join in.
If the opponents are armed with modern tech, the slim chance turns into no chance.
(All this is assuming, of course, that Hope and the nameless will not be used as Plot Device cards.)

This is assuming that Sakura, Eirol, Fujitaka, Li Shaolan, Spinel Sun, Ruby Moon, Kerobos, Yue, Li Yelan, and Mizuki Kaho can't just pool their magic and overload the magic nullifying field.
Oh yeah, I also forgot. Spinel Sun is another Giant Lion type creature. Not that it will make TOO much of a diffrence though.
