How did the Empire of the Hand fall?

Post by Lex »

Seach option gave me trouble finding this context...

How exactly did the EotH fall? Were they destroyed by the YV or by the Chiss or wha?

We don't need to know *how* they fell, only that it was reported that they did. That is the current state of our knowledge. Further speculation is rather pointless.
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

Another reason Dark Nest is stupid. Apparently, the Chiss can pop the Empire of the Hand out of nowhere, and make it disappear at will. As a fan of EotH, I am pissed.

My bet is on it resurfacing in the Legacy of the Force series, or possibly having something to do with that New Empire from the upcoming Dark Horse series. It seems too convenient to just make an organization like that just disappear without any sort of explanation.

It can't be that bad, at least this will just be a shitty comic book as opposed to a shitty TV show or movie.

Isn't the EotH described in Vision of the Future as being most of the unknown regions? I'm sure that when Luke was looking at the galactic map in the EotH base, and he put the territory indicator on, the Imperial territory was something like a third of the galaxy including the EotH?
