I'm looking at getting a couple of DS games from liksang.com, so the question is: Does Nintendo force you to use games that are from the same region as your DS?
I'm in Australia and the website has Jap/Us/Euro versions. Am I correct in guessing that the euro version is the one I want or doesn't it matter between us/euro?

Marcus Aurelius: ...the Swedish S-tank; the exception is made mostly because the Swedes insisted really hard that it is a tank rather than a tank destroyer or assault gun
Ilya Muromets: And now I have this image of a massive, stern-looking Swede staring down a bunch of military nerds. "It's a tank." "Uh, yes Sir. Please don't hurt us."

It's region free. Just make sure you read Japanese if you order a Japanese one
The only problem you might find is in multi-pack multiplayer, if your friend has a Japanese version and you have a European one the games might not see each other as having the same game. Online play works fine across regions, and single pack multiplayer works fine, but some games don't properly multi-pack play.
