Ok do to where I am and my work schedule I tend to miss most of the episodes and the ones I do catch leave me asking lots of questions. For example

1. After a lady did an interview on the Galatica they showed her on one of the occupied planets making some strange comments. I thought the colonies were destroied and whats up with them studying humans I thought they were at war.

2. What is Six? The one person keeps seeing him but no one else does.

Is there a real good place with synapsis for all the episodes I missed, most of them.

Oh my. You have missed a lot.

1. That Reporter is a Cylon. The Cylons have many copies of 12 models that look like certain people. Which means the one with the fleet is an infiltrator, and another one back on Caprica is another cylon, even though they look the same.

2. As of now, your guesses are as good as any.

2. Six was fucking Baltar on Caprica for a few years, until its destruction, and now, a version of her is following him around in his head. She tells him she's a chip in his head connected to her personality or some Cylon base, but it's possible/probable that he's just gone nuts.

Assuming that's really Baltar. His survival of the attack was fishy at best.

Six is a Cylon, obviously. The problem is why nobody but Baltar sees him.

The current theories, as far as I know:

A.) She's a delusion of his. Which doesn't really work as she often knows who's a Cylon even though Baltar has no reason to actually know.

B.) Six, before she got fried on Capricia, planted a chip/hypnotic suggestion/what have you in Baltar's head.

C.) Baltar's a Cylon who doesn't know it (improbable, but it's one I've heard...)

There are a fair few others. Most of 'em are outright weird; a few of 'em are plausible. These are the ones I can remember though...
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

On the other hand:
The Six the Baltar was actually screwing, that got resurrected, now has a head-Baltar. B and C don't really work as a result, because they wouldn't have implanted a head-Baltar into her, and Six would know if Baltar's a Cylon.

I always thought Six was telepathic.

Right now, the most likely explaination seems to be the 'Iblis Alternative'. Not to say it really is an Iblis Analogue (AKA, Astro-Satan), but uh. It could be a third force.

Head!Six, and Head!Baltar seem to both go against their character's personalities by being assertive and manipulative. Caprica!Six is a lot more timid than she used to be for example. More Neurotic. Same with Gaius.

Not to mention the voices sometimes know what they shouldn't (The Baby).

What're the capabilities of the cylons? I know Leoben Conroy was still able to smack over that table and break his chains even after getting pistol-whipped, and probably having the shit kicked out of him previous by the Gemenon Traveller crew (wouldn't surprise me, really), and yet he's still able to be hauled back by a couple of guards, almost drowned.
On the other hand if Sharon is something to go by, they don't get tired all that exhausted easily.
What about other physical statistics? Do they go down after a shot from the 'Blade Runner pistols' like a normal human or do they need at least two or three like the Centurions?

I believe Ron Moore stated in his podcast for "Downloaded" that the Six Balter sees is a hallucination.

But I'm getting that info second hand, so I'm not completely sure.

I appologise for the Blade Runner Remark, but my previous question still stands. How much punishment can the Cylons take? How many rounds does it take to put them down?

We've never seen a cylon take more than one bullet.

I think with Leoben Conroy that those chains would have been brake-able by a normal human if normal humans had the ability to turn off pain and automatic responses to physical danger (humans are alot stronger physically than out central nervous system typically allows). If the Cylons could turn that off, they could be quite a bit stronger than people normally are, at the expense of physical damage to their bodies.

After all, Cylon's are supposed to be physically identical to humans aside from the various contradictory stuff they put in the show, like the glowing spines, datajacks in their arm, and Cylon Super Blood. Chances are they aren't that much more damage resistant than humans, if humans could actively control their central nervous system to ignore pain and control reflexes.

She didn't. Baltar had Dr. Cottle scan his brain and nothing turned up.

Doesn't rule out the idea of it being a device undetectable to the medical scanners aboard an aging Battlestar.

I still like my idea that it's either A) a whole bunch of microscopic computer chips which attach to various neurons and basically form a second brain within Baltar's head, or B) that it's some sort of "wetware virus" wherein Six somehow implanted a second personality into Baltar's brain.

They're probably both implausible as hell, but they're the best alternatives to Six being a supernatural phenomenon (not likely given the tone of the series) or being purely the result of Baltar going crazy (which would be terribly disappointing).

Just to clarify, we've never see a human model Cylon take more than one bullet. The centurions can take multiple hits and keep coming.
