Opinions on Virtual Series?

Post by Darksider »

Has anyone here read any virtual series fanfiction before?

I've been delving into a few of them recently, most are terrible, with the occasional gem. the only ones I really follow are Stargate Horizon and Stargate destiny.

So, what do you guys think? Anyone here who knows some good ones?

There's Babylon 5 Virtual Season 6, last updated in 2002 but well worth the read.

It's when people either continue a canceled series with an online "season" of fanfic episodes, or create their own spin-off series.

Most of it sucks ass, but some of it is tolorable, a precious few are even good.

One other note about virtual series fanfiction.

Don't get to attatched to a particular series. Some of them have a tendandcy to die, and never get finished.

And some, well ... you just wish they would die
