After kicking my deadbeat roomate to the curb (a story which I will not go into), I converted his old room into my computer room. Normally, this wouldn't warrant a comment, but it gives me a chance to show off my collection. I'm a nerd at heart. Probably always will be. Whereas many of my old toys/models have ended up in garage sales or the donation box, I could never let these babys go.

I enjoy looking at them when working on my PC. What do you find cool enough to have near yours?

My desk is covered with piles of paper, receipts, and miscellany such as screwdrivers, a tape measure, my camera, a few books and CDs, etc. The idea of actually putting more shit on it for the purpose of decoration would be absurd.
