In descending order of seriousness:

I dunno. Worf freaked out like a little baby girl when a mannequin arm grabbed his ankle in Nemesis. Some screaming freak with a painted face ought to send him running away shrieking like a gutshot hog.

I think they headbutt each other and promptly pass out. When they wake up, they call it even and go get a beer. Both get hammered on romulan ale and bitch about being bossed around by pasty old white men whose necks they could break one-handed.

I'd guess that their physical strength is about even. More importantly, Lurtz seemed like more of a hardass and a better close combat fighter than Worf usually is. So I think the end result would be Uruk, Uruk Uber Alles.

If we assume bat'leth for Worf and sword for whatshisname, the orc wins. Worf would be better off with a Ginsu knife than that ridiculous Bat'leth.

His name is Lurtz.

And I agree–Worf is hoplessly outclassed. The batleth is FAR to unwieldy to even nick Lurtz considering how fased we saw him parry and attack against Aragorn.

*Worf swings up the Batleth for a blow, and Lurtz slashes into Worf's chest*

It's a very quick battle.

The Orcish sword-things are pretty poorly designed as well; I'd expect something of a wash in the armament department. IIRC we saw some structural failure of Orc weapons due to the shitty manufacturing and materials, a disadvantage that the Bat'leth, its shitty design notwithstanding, would presumably not have.

Of course, I could be pulling the Orc weapons breaking thing out of my ass. Seems like I saw it in the movies a few times, but its been a while to be honest.

Orc movie swords are meant for chopping. They do that just fine and we don't see a single one break. I don't believe the book is specific about weapons type though.

The end result is Worf charges, and Lurtz shoots him in the chest with his bow, and then chops his head off.
