Wow... I keep thinking that Sony can't dig their hole any deeper.In an unexpected move, SCEA publicity chief Molly Smith has resigned her post.
Smith, who has managed SCEA's formidable PR machine for a decade, left the company yesterday.
Her move comes just a few weeks after the arrival of Peter Dille, from THQ, as senior vice president of marketing. Staff at the Foster City company were told of her departure late yesterday. An official announcement is yet to be made.
She took over SCEA's publicity operation soon after the launch of PlayStation 1, and has been at the center of the company's growing publicity reach ever since.
