World's longest lasting lightbulb - been burning since 1901! Holy cow but that's a long lasting bulb! It's probably lasted so long because it's not very bright, and because they never turn it off (electrical resistance is lower when the filament's cool, which means a greater surge of power through it till it warms up - which is why incandescent bulbs always burn out just after you turn them on), but Jesus! 102 years!
